Very Berry Jam

Just thought up a new recipe for a jam, and thought I should share. Hope you will like it.

250g fresh raspberries
250g fresh blackberries
250g fresh strawberries
250g fresh blueberries
750g jam sugar
1 large lemon, juice and rind

1) Place all the fruit in a large heavy bottom pan, together with the lemon juice and rind
2) Bring to the boil
3) Stir in sugar
4) Boil until mixture thickens slightly
5) Remove from heat and allow to cool
6) Pot up in sterilised jam jars
7) Store in a dark cupboard and refridgerate once opened

You can make this a few weeks before Christmas and give away as gifts. Use old jam jars or nice glass jars and tie with decorative ribbon. You can also use frozen fruit. I have though up some other jam recipes which I will upload soon. 🙂
