Chive dip

As ever, a simple and quick to make recipe, great for serving with chips, spicy potato wedges, crisps and pre-prepared vegetable sticks for the more healthy amongst us.

½ cup plain yogurt
½ cup cream cheese
3 tablespoons chives, finely chopped
¼ teapoons dried chilli flakes
¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
¼ teaspoon salt, or to taste
¼ teaspoon white pepper, or to taste
¼ teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 tablespoons chive flowers

1) In a small bowl, combine the yogurt with the cream cheese
2) Add 2 1/2 tablespoons of the chives and all the seasoning to the yogurt mix and stir until fully incorporated
3) Refrigerate for at least an hour
4) Just before serving, drizzle the olive oil on top of the dip
5) Sprinkle the remainder of the chopped chives on top of the dip, together with the chive flowers and serve with chips and pre-prepared raw vegetable sticks
