Vintage @Southbank: Roof Garden, Queen Elizabeth Hall

Below is a slideshow featuring pictures taken 29th July 2011.  The Roof Garden is one of the best I have come across, and illustrates how you can grow just about anything in a limited space.  I was very impressed to see evidence of wild life including several bees.  You would never guess that this beautiful garden is situated in the heart of London.

I loved that vegetables and herbs were growing amongst flowers and shrubs, giving the garden a multi functional use.

  1. I agree this is a great garden, but has been there all summer – it has nothing to do with the shambolic Vintage event!
