The reason; I love anything Lorraine Pascale makes, so a recipe from her was the natural choice for me. Photography wise, I was attracted by the relaxed way the photo was composed – the use of everyday cutlery, the white crockery and the rustic looking board. Even the colour scheme, which on paper may sound off putting, in effect makes this dish look impressive, yet achievable. The simple salad adds a nice touch.
Myles New’s photography in general I find admirable, and my photos in future will be very much influenced by his work, along side that of William Meppem, whose photography was used in Donna Hay‘s latest book ‘Fast, Fresh, Simple’.
